The Beginning

Aroma y Te was born from a simple realisation: most people have never tasted truly exceptional tea. The founder, after spending three years travelling through Asia's tea-producing regions, returned to Spain with a mission to bridge the gap between artisan tea farmers and European tea lovers.

Every tea tells a story of its origin, the hands that cultivated it, and the traditions that shaped it.

What started as personal imports for friends and family quickly grew into something more. Word spread about teas that tasted unlike anything available in local shops. People wanted to know where to find the delicate first-flush Darjeeling, the complex aged pu-erh, the floral Taiwanese high-mountain oolong.

Our Philosophy

We believe that quality tea should be accessible, but never compromised. This means working directly with farmers who share our commitment to sustainable cultivation and traditional processing methods. It means refusing to cut corners with bulk suppliers or anonymous tea auctions.

Every tea in our collection has been personally tasted and selected. We visit our partner farms regularly, maintaining relationships that span years. When you purchase from Aroma y Te, you are not just buying tea, you are supporting a global community of artisan producers who have dedicated their lives to this craft.

What Guides Us

"Tea is patient. It teaches us to slow down, to pay attention, to appreciate subtlety. In a world that moves too fast, a good cup of tea is a small rebellion."

Our Partners

We work with a carefully selected network of tea producers across China, Japan, Taiwan, India, and Sri Lanka. These are not anonymous suppliers but partners whose farms we have visited, whose families we know, whose commitment to quality matches our own.

Many of these farms have been in the same families for generations. They grow tea not because it is profitable, but because it is what their grandparents did, what their parents did, and what they hope their children will continue to do. This continuity of tradition is something we deeply respect and actively support.

Sustainability in Practice

Sustainability is not a marketing term for us. We pay premium prices that allow farmers to invest in organic methods. We support farms transitioning away from chemical inputs. We use packaging that protects freshness without unnecessary plastic.

When you choose Aroma y Te, you are choosing to be part of a supply chain that values people and planet alongside quality.
